Homeless encampment cleanup

Homeless encampments can consist of feces, urine and used drug paraphernalia. We are trained and have experience in the cleanup.

Homelessness is a worldwide problem. The issue lies with encampments presenting biohazards. Often times encampments are littered with used hypodermic needles, paraphernalia, narcotics, urine/feces, gross filth and biohazardous waste. This can lead to the spread of disease for anyone who comes into contact with the items. Veteran Decon is law enforcement owned and has years of experience dealing with encampments and the hazards they present. Veteran Decon is equipped with the proper PPE and will not only properly dispose of the biohazard in accordance with OSHA regulations, but will also clean and sanitize the area.

The scene is usually consists of blood,
bodily fluids, infectious disease and biohazard.

In addition to encampment cleanup, Veteran Decon offers sidewalk sanitation where tents are often times set up. Sidewalks in these “tent cities” are littered with urine/feces and hypodermic needles. Simply removing them does not get rid of the biohazard. The area still needs to be sanitized in order to be rendered safe. There have been many cities in Southern California requesting this service due to the outbreak of hepatitis. Veteran Decon will respond and handle the service for you.
